Alabama-based artist Alexandria Franck (b. 1999) works in a variety of media. She draws constant inspiration from all forms of transgressive art, consciously cultivating an interdisciplinary and experimental creative process that embraces a variety of influences and artistic approaches. Her performed work combines aspects of noise and minimalism with ambient improvisatory structures, often focusing attention on themes of sex, violence, and her own experiences as a transsexual living in the American South.
Franck currently pursues a master's degree in music composition at the University of Alabama under the direction of Dr. Amir Zaheri, having previously completed a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the same institution.
